Bow Thong Beach resort was established 14 years ago by Mr and Mrs Bow Thong. Mrs Bow Thong still runs the resort and during your stay you will feel part of the Bow Thong family. Combining traditional Thai culture, decor and hospitality to the modern ammenities we provide, this resort provides the perfect place to spend your holiday.

Central to the resort is Bow Thong Beach House where you can find the reception area and the Bow Thong Beach Restaurant. Here you will start the day enjoying your FREE breakfast*, before moving onto the beach where snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. In the evening sample our delicious menu or if you prefer you can wander down the beach to one of the many beachfront eateries.

Koh Tao is a small island (only 21 km²!) off the East coast of Thailand. Literally, 'Koh' means island and 'Tao' means turtle - hence the name Turtle Island. The tropical islands in the Gulf of Thailand are well known for their idylic sandy beaches and relaxed way of life and Koh Tao is no different.
